Experience Summary:

 

Project engineer with nearly a decade of EPC experience. Adept in managing a technical team and building stakeholder relationships. Met and exceeded productivity goals by utilizing strategic project management techniques. Experience includes key roles such as Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Lead Mechanical Engineer.

Judicious project management of a multi-discipline team within DynaWest and sub-contractors. Projects were managed through a gated process from Scoping Study / Preliminary Design, Design Basis Memorandum / FEED, Engineering Design Specification, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning and Project Close Out. Disciplines managed: Architectural, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls, Mechanical Engineering (Piping, HVAC), and Structural engineering. Mechanical engineer for HVAC and piping related projects.   

Mechanical Engineer versed in the preparation of applications for and acquirement of National Safety Marks (NSM), Transport Canada Registration Numbers (TCRN’s), and Canadian Registration Numbers (CRN’S). Performed finite element stress analysis (FEA) on truck / trailer rear-end protection devices, rollover protection devices, vessels, nozzles, hydroelectric turbine coupler pins, pintle hitch’s, and fire rescue tie off frames. Prepared quality manuals in accordance with the requirements of CSA Standard B620 and / or the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Safety Regulations under the review of the Alberta Boiler Safety Authority (ABSA). Mentored Professional Members and Engineers in Training, new to pressure vessel design methodology.
